Cindy Lee’s Act Of Tenderness!

Cindy Lee’s ‘holy grail’ needs no introduction, right?

Initially released on the diva’s own CCQSK E N T E R P R I S E S, Act Of Tenderness is a mouth watering piece of art, an ephemera of beauty and ache that singer, guitarist, drag queen Patrick Flegel had been collecting and weaving into his own personal world up to 2015 when it was initially released. You don’t need to know anything else, just get your hands on one.

Video Duct, Tropical Trash & Brutal Birthday

videoduct1500 BBTTSPLIT_1500_300dpi

Heavy hearts here at the HQ, but we have two last insane releases before we can say CIAO to 2017.

Small Pets And Kitchenettes is Video Ducts’ first release for Maple Death Records, 50 minutes of art, menace, breakdowns, noise, no wave, concrete dub, punk squelches, benzo pills and 8 track wizardry created, recorded and executed all alone by American teenager Kelly Ribiat. Our pals over at DECODER previewed a track and you listen to it now. Infos & Pre-order HERE.

What can you do with 7 minutes of pure salivating filled to the brim fortune telling pieces of audio conglomerates? Well Maple Death puts ‘em together side by side: Kentucky, Louisville’s finest Tropical Trash and Bologna’s saddest Brutal Birthday. More to it? Euro tour in the works for December with this slab of precious wax loaded in the van in an easy digestible 7” split format. Noisey previewed the 7″ so head over to LISTEN. Infos & Pre-Order HERE.

See you in the future!

His Electro Blue Voice’s ‘Mental Hoop’

1500 HEBV

Excited to finally announce His Electro Blue Voice‘s new LP ‘Mental Hoop‘ (MDR020) out November 24th 2017 on Maple Death (world) and Irong Lung Records (North America).
HEBV is back as savage as ever, bringing it’s A-game and its usual brand of punishing dark-punk, Italo Hardcore, kraut beats, metallic noise and industrial. You will hear music soon.

Havah’s ‘Contravveleno’

vinile havah1500cd1500havah

Havah‘s third LP ‘Contravveleno‘ is finally out! Contravveleno (antidote) is their most razor sharp, dense and assertive effort, a cold plunge by one of Italy’s darkest bands into one of the countries’ most wretched pictures, a moment that united the toughest and brought out the bravest. Inspired by the stories of Ravenna partisans fighting off Nazi-Fascists during WWII.

I’m not big on sending quotes and all but very proud that folks all over the world have been responding to this LP and going beyond the language barrier reminding us that we’re not only going through dark times… there is more.

NPR“Contravveleno pushes the physicality of the genre in which they traffic with attendant sophistication and grace.”
Stereogum (Album Of The Week) – “Contravveleno is lush and expansive and pretty in its despair. It’s dark music for dark times, and losing yourself in it feels good.”
